I had one very polite spammer apologize for leaving it, as she liked my site, but was required to do it for her job.

Spammers are now trying to engage bloggers in conversation and it seems to be working, at least as far as getting past Akismet’s beady eye:
I think I saw that same piece of spam come across my blog too! But in my Akismet filter, of course. 🙂
