What is the reasoning behind there being a WordPress 2.8.2? Is it security related or has a couple of major bugs been found?
Jeffro,
You’ll have to pop over to WordPress.org for discussion related to WordPress releases. The reference to WP 2.8.2 above is meant only to suggest that this Akismet release isn’t an urgent upgrade – if you’re not experiencing any problems, you can wait till the next WordPress release, which will include this version of the Akismet plugin.
I guess Alex you were not wrong on the version 2.8.2. Its out !!!!
Yeah, guess we know the reasoning behind 2.8.2 now š
