We think that everybody has a right to a spam free blog. So we let people use Akismet for free so long as it's for personal, non-commercial use.
Pro ($59/yr or $5/mo)For indivdual sites, up to 80,000 comments/mo.
Enterprise ($550/yr or $50/mo)For multiple medium size sites, up to 80,000 comments/mo (total).
Corporate ($3950/yr or $395/mo)For corporate sites, up to 300,000 comments/mo with key monitoring, priority service and annual invoicing.
The Akismet Partner Program rewards WordPress developers, designers and consultants for referring their customers to Akismet's subscription plans. It's currently in closed beta and strictly by invitation only. Completing the registration does not guarantee a place in the program.
Akismet will pay a referral fee for Pro, Enterprise and Corporate paid signups from customers referred by you. We still give API keys away to people wanting Akismet for a personal blog, and don't expect those people to pay (and neither should you).
We'll make a one-time payment for each referral: $24 for Pro subscriptions and $240 for Enterprise subscriptions.
Payments will be made via PayPal 45 days after the end of the month in which the customer signs up.
We reserve the right to stop the program at any time.
Once accepted, we'll send you a link for your customers to use. It presents a signup page with only the paid plans as options. Once they've paid for a plan, their purchase will be associated with your account.
We'll send money to your PayPal account for all successful transactions.
This partner program is intended for use with your existing clients. Linking to your referrer code on the internet, or in any way promoting it to people that aren't your customers is prohibited, and will result in your being removed from the program. The plan here is to have less spam, not more!
